This policy explains how Observagent handles personal information when you visit this documentation site or use the wider Observagent service.

What we collect

Information we collect

On this documentation site, we collect limited technical data needed to operate and secure it, such as IP address, device or browser data, request timestamps, and cookie identifiers. If you sign in to the linked Observagent dashboard, that product separately collects account details, authentication and security records, billing details, and the telemetry that customers choose to send to the service. Please do not send secrets, government identifiers, payment-card data, health data, or other sensitive personal information through any Observagent surface.

Why we use it

How we use information

We use documentation-site data to operate and secure the site, understand which guides are useful, diagnose reliability issues, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer telemetry submitted to the Observagent product to train general-purpose AI models.

Service providers and transfers

Hosting and processors

We disclose only what is needed to providers that help us host and secure this site. These providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions where they operate, where local authorities may lawfully access it. We use contractual and organizational safeguards and assess cross-border transfers as required.

Retention and deletion

How long we keep it

We retain site data only for the period reasonably necessary for the purposes above. Security and backup records may be retained longer where required. We then delete or irreversibly anonymize information using appropriate safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Access, correction, and deletion

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, portability, or deletion; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; and complain to a privacy regulator. We may verify your identity and may retain information where law requires it. Use Cookie choices in the footer to manage optional cookies at any time, or contact the Privacy Officer below.
